WHO YOU ARE

FoundSM is looking for a data driven problem solver to be our next Paid Media Specialist. You are someone who is thrilled to learn new skills everyday by merging previous work and school experiences with digital marketing training to become a strong asset to the team.

Ideally, you are a critical thinker who wants to know what is not working, why it is not working, and how it can be improved. You are excited to be organized, get to know different audiences, analyze data, optimize campaign elements and much more.

While what we do at FoundSM falls under the marketing umbrella we find applicants from other disciplines within the analytical realm (e.g.: mathematics, actuarial science, accounting, statistics) and others (e.g.: psychology, economics, informatics) really excel in the digital side of marketing. THE ROLE
The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for the daily operations and optimizations of our clients’ paid media campaigns. This role reports to our Director, Channel Operations & Development. Your tasks will include trafficking campaign creative and approvals, project managing client projects, assisting with optimizing campaigns, writing ads, pacing budgets and reporting, among other things.

You may occasionally interact with clients and vendors through email and video calls, so your excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills will come in handy.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ROUTINE ACTIVITIES

  • Maintain high level of client knowledge for designated clients
    • Understand the overall client media plans and how campaigns can affect their overall business performance
  • Help to develop campaign strategy and road-mapping
    • Conduct keyword, audience and competitive research
  • Execute paid search, paid social, display and other campaigns for multiple clients
    • Manage and maintain digital media budgets, forecasting and pacing
    • Complete optimizations in a proactive manner to ensure each campaign meets or exceeds desired KPIs and specific goals
    • Write and implement ad copy
  • QA campaign settings, targeting, landing pages, ads and more
  • Extract campaign data, generate client reports, interpret and analyze results
    • Identify trends, wins and losses, and communicate to teams and clients
  • Communicate with designated client teams on performance, project statuses and more
  • Build and maintain digital marketing knowledge through constant self-education
  • Bring potential opportunities of growth to account managers and directors
  • Traffic campaign creative and manage approvals
  • Improve and maintain internal and external documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS in Statistics, Informatics, Business and/or other related degrees (e.g. Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Psychology)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Basic proficiency in Google workspaces (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)
  • Understand how to properly analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Inquisitive nature and desire to always find ways to improve
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a positive and professional manner
